Hollywood filmmakers, who have a vested interest in the success of their product, once voiced one of the “secrets of craftsmanship.” In order for the film to be liked by the public, a child or … a dog must definitely flash there.

It seems to me that everything is quite natural. Dogs, as long as humanity remembers itself, help in the struggle for survival and simply brighten up the gray everyday life, having firmly settled in close proximity to us. There are 10 million dogs in the UK alone (which isn’t that big, by the way).

The British did two experiments. Not with dogs – with people, although with the participation of dogs. But the experiments are pretty funny.

The essence of the first experiment was that the young man had to meet girls in the park. According to the usual scheme: hello, I like you, can you give me a phone number? The mission was considered completed if he got the coveted phone number.

At first, the success was not too impressive: only one out of ten girls agreed to share the phone.

And then the young man was given a dog. The result was impressive. Performing exactly the same simple actions, but in the company of a four-legged friend, the young man managed to get the phone of every third girl.

Can you imagine the difference? 1:10 and 1:3.

The scientists did not stop there and conducted experiment number two.

Two randomly assigned groups of students were shown photographs of the same people expressing the same emotions. In only one case, it was just the person in the picture. And in the other – a man with a puppy.

People pictured in the company of dogs were much more likely to be rated as positive, open, and trustworthy by the participants in the experiment.

What is it all connected with? Maybe with the fact that dogs Tulung should we become just like that, the best version of ourselves?
